I'll be at the Innsmouth Literary Festival tomorrow - Saturday 30th September - at the Kings House Conference Centre, 245 Ampthill Rd, Bedford MK42 9AZ.
I'll have a very small booth selling Call of Cthulhu Starter Sets (cash only!), so if you are in the area, do pop along and say hi. I'll be pleased to chat about Call of Cthulhu and other Chaosium wonders, and I'll have my pen in case anyone would like me to spoil their books with an autograph. You may also see Cthulhu Associate Editor, Keris McDonald lurking about too.
I'll also be on the "Beyond the Book – How Weird Fiction Has Influenced Other Mediums" panel, starting at 3:30 p.m.
My partner in Eldritch crime, Paul Fricker, will also be attending and he’s on the earlier panel: “The Weird Tradition – From Folklore & Legend to Weird Tales & Beyond” happening at 10:20 a.m.
If you’re in the USA, then I might see you at GameHoleCon in Madison, WI, running October 19 to 22, at the Alliant Energy Center, Exhibition Hall. I’m a guest at the con and I’ll be running various Call of Cthulhu scenarios throughout the weekend. There’ll be a Chaosium booth run by Rick Meints, with all manner of wonders to purchase. I’ll be on the lookout for suitably cool Halloween stuff (and pumpkin-spiced beverages!).
Later, on the first weekend of December, I’ll be at Dragonmeet in London. Again, Chaosium will have a booth. We hope to again be joined by Ben Aaronovitch, who will be happy to sign copies of the spectacular Rivers of London TTRPG, along with Rivers line editor, Lynne Hardy.
Look forward to seeing you at one of these events!
I got to Bedford about an hour and a half ago. See you at the festival tomorrow.
